She is buried in Sugar Grove cemetery in Miami Co., O. They lived in Marion, Ind. some. The following quote from "The Church of the Brethren in Michigan“ by Walter Young,p. 146, Brethren Publishing House, Elgin, Ill.,1946, has this about Samuel H. Crumrine: “During the summer of 1922, the church lot was bought and an old school shack was purchased and torn down .... Grandpa Crumine, a carpenter, had started the building on July 3,1932." This reference is to the Pontiac Church of the Brethren. The "Gospel Messenger" (Church of the Brethren magazine) for Aug. 19 1922, has this: “So far practically all the work on the new church has been donated. Directed by Bro. Samuel Crumrine, a master carpentar, almost impossible conditions have been surmounted. Bro. Crumrine alone has given almost two months work to the building of the church. His son, Bro.
