MRS. BONHAM DIES IN PONTIAC
Mrs. Charles L. Bonham passed away Monday, December 30, in a rest home in Pontiac, following nine and one half years of illness, spending about six years of that time in Evart and Farwell Rest Homes.
Ermina Mae Crumrine was born January 22, 1879 in Dark County, Ohio, and moved with her family to Indiana.
She was married to Charles L. Bonham, on April 19, 1899, at Marion, Indiana. Nine children were born to this union. A son Russell passed away several years ago and one daughter in infancy.
The family came to Michigan fifty years ago, living on farms, in Clare County here for a number of years, when they moved to Pontiac where the father had employment.

He had been living with his sister Mrs. Thomas Abbott, to be near his wife. The children then took their mother back to Pontiac where she stayed until her death.
She belonged to the Jehovah Witness Congregation and was a faithful wife, loving mother and a good neighbor, always ready to help those in need, as long ar she was able.
She is survived by three sons Treston L., of Detroit, Charles H. and Emery L.; four daughters, Mrs. Mae Sanders, Mrs. Dorothy Debic, all of Pontiac Mrs. Claretta Douglas, and Mrs. Zella Jorgensen of Lancaster, California; one sister Mrs. Martha Huntley of Clare; twenty five grand children, thirty great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and a host of friends.
Funeral services were held from the Coker Funeral Home at Farwell, Thursday afternoon, January 2, 1958, with Reader Richard Baugh of Pontiac officiating, and burial in Cherry Grove Cemetery in Clare, beside her husband.
