- ↑ "Samuel D. Chenot, 67, of North Chapel Road, Louisville, was found deadSunday evening in an orchard near his home. He had shot himself todeath with a shotgun. He had been suffering from ill health and hadbeen under a doctor's care. He was a native of Louisville. Survivingare his widow, Mary; three daughters, Ruth, Esther and Mary, at home; ason, Donald, at home; four brothers, William of Alliance, John of Akron,Charles of North Canton and Daniel of Canton; for sisters, Mrs. KatieMayor of Canton, Mrs. Ada Hartzell of Freeburg, Mrs. Levi Nimon ofMiddlebranch and Mrs. Oscar Foltz of Marlboro. Services will be Tuesdayat 1:30 PM at the residents and at 2 at Reformed church. Rev. E. E.Zechel will officiate. Burial in Union Cemetery. The body was to betaken from the Sluss parlors to the residence this afternoon."
