"Mrs. Mary Chenot, 71, of Louisville, died of bronchial asthma at her home Sunday afternoon after an illness of a month. She had been a resident of Louisville for the past 50 years. Beside her husband she is survived by 11 children: Rev. George F. Chenot of Tiffin; J. C. Chenot, superintendent of schools at Minerva; Peter Chenot, Golden, Colorado; W.H. Chenot, Alliance; S. D. Chenot and Mrs. Levi Nimon, of Louisville; Charles W. Chenot, Mrs. John Mayer and Mrs. Oscar Foltz, of Canton; Mrs. Robert Hartzell, of Freeburg, and Daniel E. Chenot, of new Berlin. There are 43 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Two brothers and two sisters also are surviving: Jacob Powell, lucky strike, Canada; Ephriam Powell, Rockton, Illinois; Mrs. Belinda Culler, Weilersville, Ohio, and Mrs. Sarah Culler, Fayette, Idaho. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon, meeting at the home and 1:00, with public services at the Louisville Reformed church. Burial will be in the Union Cemetery, Louisville."S3
