    SAMUEL S. BUSHERT WAS BORN IN LANCASTER, FAIRFIELD COUNTY, OHIO, AUG. 26, 1827 AND DIED IN BETHANY, NOV. 29, 1918. HE WAS MARRIED TO NANCY RARRICK IN OHIO ON NOV. 13, 1850 BY REV. SPANGLER. TO THIS UNION WERE BORN 13 CHILDREN, MARY M. WHO DIED IN INFANCY, GEORGE A. OF CALIFORNIA, SARAH E. SCOTT OF LAKE CITY, DELILAH A. DOWERS OF BETHANY, CORA B. DOWERS OF SULLIVAN, PERRY J OF BETHANY, WILLIAM, WHO DIED AT AGE 11, OLIVER G. OF CHAMPAIGN, LAURA BOLICK OF HIGHT, ERNEST W. AND JONATHAN. R BOTH DIED WHEN QUITE YOUNG, EDWARD A. WHO DIED ABOUT 13 YEARS AGO AND NANNIE M. CULLEN OF CHAMPAIGN. HIS WIFE DIED OCT. 6, 1914.

TOHILL AND A. A. LIVESEY. THE PALLBEARERS WERE EARL BUSHERT, HAROLDAND LESTER BUSHERT, ALBERT AND ARTHUR DOWERS AND Z. A. BOLICK.
