Facts and Events
Samuel Bunch begins to appear in Louisa County, Virginia records in the 1740s. He presents a wolf's head for bounty in 1744, 1746, and 1769. He appears on a jury in 1745, and he and his family were received into the Monthly Meeting at Cedar Creek on 17 Jul 1748.[1] Samuels' will, dated 30 Jan 1782, names his wife Mary, sons Samuel, George, Charles, James, John, and daughters Judith, Mary, Rebecca Meredith, Ann Bunch. Only Samuel, George, Charles, Judith, and Mary Bunch received substantial bequests and shared in the remainder of the estate; the others received small amounts.[1] References
