He graduated from Story City High School in 1910 and from St. Olaf College in 1917. He taught in Story Co. rural schools 1910-13. On Feb 20, in 1918, he enlisted and was assistant band director of the 351st Infantry Band A.E.F. France, 1918-19. Honorably discharged June 6, 1919. Teacher, Keewatin, Minn., 1919-21, Superintendent of Schools Buffalo Center, Iowa 1921-25, Drayton, N.D. 1926-27, Harmony, Minn. 1927-32, Benson, Minn. 1932-36. From 1937 to 1957 he was manager of Minnesota Teacher's Service. He was chairman, Board of Trustees, Our Savior's church, Minneapolis, Minnesota and late he was an active member of the Lutheran Church of the Good Sheperd in Edina, Minnesota. References
