== Biography ==Ruth Abigail Sanborn was born March 18, 1709, a daughter of John and Sarah (Philbrick) Sanborn. Ruth was the first wife of Quaker James Bean, born in Exeter, NH, the son of Jeremiah Bean and Ruth (Johnson) Bean. Children of Ruth and James include:

  • Enoch Bean, born 1729, in Brentwood, New Hampshire, died about 1814, in Strafford, Vermont, married Love Gordon, a daughter of Thomas Gordon and Mary (Seribner) Gordon, on June 12, 1755, in Meredith, Belknap county, New Hampshire

Ruth Abigail (Sanborn) Bean died circa 1734 in Brentwood, New Hampshire and her husband married two more times.
