From Gay Legge's notes: "Was a post mistress at Panmure while looking after Gran who lived in King St. Met Reg probably at a church function. He worked for the Williams family on a farm situated in the area where the shopping centre is, and stretched across the road to St Kentigern College. In 1928 he bought a farm in Hunua. Ruth died 19 Oct 1985."

From a photocopy of an entry in the Register of Births Deaths and Marriages for Te Awamutu: "On 3rd January 1908 at Te Awamutu Ruth Beryl Elizabeth, F, born to Sarah Ann Mold, formerly Kendall age 26 born at Rawene NZ. Father Arthur Mold, Farmhand age 27 born at Pirongia NZ. They were married on 12 August 1903 at Auckland, NZ. Informant was A Mold, father of Te Awamutu. Registration was on the 3rd of January."
