Miss Ruth Latimer

Miss Ruth Latimer, 267 Atlantic NW, died at 5:50 this morning of complications following pneumonia. She had been ill for five months. Born in Cleveland, the daughter of Joseph C. and Florence Helman Latimer, the former a native of Warren, the latter of Minerva, Miss Latimer had been a resident of Warren for 35 years, coming here from Minerva.
A secretary by profession, Miss Latimer held three important positions following her graduation from the Harding High School. Her most recent employment was in the office of the Peerless Electric Company. Her first position was as secretary to the late N.A. Wolcott. After his death she became associated with the Warren Community Fund office. She made many friends among a wide circle of acquaintances in her contacts with other members of her church, the Central Christian, and in her business relations.
Distinguished by a naturally happy disposition and a cheerful attitude of mind, Miss Latimer retained these qualities thruout a long and trying illness.
She leaves two sisters, Miss Jane Latimer, director of Warren Visiting Nurse Association, Mrs. George Nippell of Warren, and one brother, George B. Latimer, Detroit, Mich.
The family will meet friends at the McFarland and Son Funeral Home from 7 to 8:30 Sunday evening. Funeral services will be held there at 2 p.m. Monday, the Rev. Edwin C. Bobbitt officiating. Interment will be in Oakwood Cemetery.
