    Feb 1906.

“Mother Rufaann Miller was born near Johnstown, Pennsylvania, April 30, 1824 and died at the home of her son, near Glendon, January 23, 1906. She was 81 years 8 months and 23 days old. She was converted and joined the Church of God under the labors of Elder Thos. Hickernell and Geo. Sandoe in 1852 in Park county, IN and is the last of the charter members of the Church of God, organized in 1855 by Elder Geo. Thomas, formerly of IN. Mrs. Miller was the wife of Enos Miller who died in 1885. She leaves five sons and one daughter, all of whom were at her bedside, except S. P. Miller, who lives in the north part of the state. She leaves numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren and a wide circle of friends to mourn her loss, which is her eternal gain, for she lived as she died ready to go. Funeral by Elder Mullen assisted by Rev. Clampitt. She was laid to rest in the Glendon cemetery to await the call of the first resurrection.”
