Royston William Dunlop Elwell (b. 26apr1877, England, unm., teacher), son of WRD Elwell, Chudleigh vicarage, Devon, who had had military service at Oxford University, signed up to serve in WW1 1915 at Calgary, Canada (voicimafamille.info).

Royston studied at Keble College, Oxford, and possibly became Principal of Calgary Agricultural College ("Iron Elwells"). Possibly Royston d. 31oct1915 of typhoid ("Iron Elwells", D. Elfick), but Royston wrote an article in 1971 (web).
