Mother Rosella and son Richard lived with son Laurence in Mansfield, Ohio according to the 1920 census. She returned to Elwood to spend her last four years, two with cancer of the uterus, with her daughter Maude (Harmon) Wise. MRS. ROSELLA HARMON- Long Illness of Good Woman Ended by Death This Morning. Mrs. Rosella Harmon, 61, widow of Edward Harmon, died at 11:30 o'clock this morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Nick Wise, four miles south and a mile east of Elwood, where she had made her home for the past four years, of cancer, after an illness of two years. Mrs. Harmon was the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. C. L. Savage, and was born March 4, 1862. She was married to Edward Harmon in 1878 and to their union were born ten children of whom six survive. They are: George; Lawrence and Henry of Mansfield, Ohio and Richard at home. There are eight grandchildren and one great grandchild. She leaves three sisters: Mrs. Savannah Broyles; Mrs. Mary Carver; Mrs. Anna Cale and three brothers: C. A.; Frank; Richard Savage, all of this community. Mrs. Harmon was a member of the Christian church and a good woman who was held in the highest regard by all who knew here. Nearly all of her life was spent in this community and her many friends will regret her passing away athough assured that she enters upon a well-earned reward. Funeral services will be conducted at the East Main street Christian church Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock by the pastor, Rev. E. S. DeMiller, and the burial will be beside her husband in the city cemetery. References
