Rose E. Gabet BUTLER - Rose E. Gabet, 86,died Saturday, Feb 3, 2007 in Betz Nursing Home in Auburn. Mrs. Gabet was a loving mother and homemaker. She was born March 5, 1920, in Auburn to Walter and Mabel (Goetschius) Housel. On Oct. 12, 1940, in New Haven, she married Arthur A. Gabet. He died March 4, 2006. Surviving are three daughters and two sons-in-law, Rose Ann and Jerry Dohner of Butler, Patricia and Charles Miller of Hicksville, Ohio, and Ellen Kelder of Garrett; Two sons and a daughter-in-law, Michael and Pamela Gabet and Richard Gabet, all of Butler; 11 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Ronald, and a sister, Rhea Berry. Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. in H. E. Johnson and Son Funeral Home, 212 N Broadway, Butler. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery at Edgerton, Ohio. Calling will be Tuesday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Memorials are to Dekalb Hospice. Condolences may be left online at www.hejohnsonfh.com.
