Sandersville Herald Friday Morning Editio October 17, 1873 Transcribed by William Custer Knight 2/17/05 ADMINISTRATOR'S SALE In pursuance of an order of the court of Ordinary of Emanuel County, will be sold before the Court-house door in Swainsboro, in said county, within the legal hours of sale on the first Tuesday in December next, one tract of land, known as the Knight old place, containing seven hundred acres, more or less. Also, one other tract of land, known as the Colman tract, containing four hundred acres, more or less. Said tracts of land lying in the 57th district, G. M., of said county, on and near the Ogeeche river, ajoining each other, 2 ½ miles from Station No. 9 ½ C.R.R., and well improved. Being the entire real estate of R.B. Knight,deceased. Sold as the property of R.B. Knight, deceased, for the benefit of the heirs and creditors of said deceased. (Sold to To J.A. Bresson for 400 Acres for $810.00
