October 1587. His marriage there to an unnamed woman was recorded 23
October 1546. She was probably his only known wife, Margaret (probably
Bearman).[19] She was likely the “Margaret Wood an auncient Christian widdow”
buried in Hunsdon 28 December 1602.
Robert Wood, together with a son and two daughters (unnamed) were legatees
in his mother’s 1556 will. He was an overseer of the 1574 will of his brother
John Wood (see above). His own will was dated 5 April 1587 and proved 28
November 1587
