2 ADDR 3 _NAME Sperling Community Cemetery

From Furrows in the Valley, a centennial Project of Morris Manitoba: R.B. & Isabella farmed in the MountForest, Ontario and had 8 children. Moved west by train in 1891. Looked in the Souris area, but decided on Sperling. (There was a William Slessor in Soulis who may have been Isabella's brother.) The family was Presbyterian. During 1904-1912 he kept a diary, currently in the Agricultural/Historical collection of the University of Manitoba.

Transcript of Carman paper says moved to MB in1894.
