Facts and Events
May 2x, 1814 last will and testament of Robert Thrap (II) appears to infer that he is uncertain of his remaining days (reason not stated). He leaves to his wife, Elizabeth all of his personal and real property until she may remarry, at which time those items are to be equally divided between his children (not named there). He leaves his wife and Benjamin Jennings as executors, witnessed by Samuel Davidson, William Jones, and William Thrap (photocopy of this one-page handwritten will and the court record of his possessions listed and valued at $250.51 are in my files). Not dated, but signed by his wife Elizabeth Starlin, late Elizabeth Thrap, administrator. Interesting items of the accounting included payments to Wm. Thrap, and another Thrap (but page creased on that line obliterated the first hame; although a later item pays a J. Thrap. References
