Gragg, Robert, , Jr., Born 1755 in Augusta County, VA, Died May 1796
Robert was named as one of the executors of his father's will (Robert Sr.), dated in 1793. The War of 1812 records show all of Robert's brothers, with the exception of William, enlisted in the East Tennessee Volunteer Infantry - but not Robert. A conjecture i s, that Robert, J r., was killed by Indians" (From the Book "Gragg Descent" by George Robert Gragg 1978)
Robert, Jr. , was first mentioned in Augusta County court records as a tax payer in 1782. His name i s mentioned several times in court procedures, as a witness, land transactions, etc., untile 1786, and the Tax List of that year shows - "Robert Gragg, J r . , moved to Holston (Tennessee).(From the Book "Gragg Descent" by George Robert Gragg 1978)
Robert Gragg Jr is the Son of Robert Gragg Sr (b-1732, d-1796) and Lydia D. Harrison (b-1730, d-1780) . And the brother of Thomas Gragg (b-1761, d-1862) and Ann Gragg-Crow(b-1761, d-1862)
