• As for my burial I desire it may be done without pomp or state at the discretion of my dear wife and executors.
• Wife Mary - land where I now live for her lifetime with reversion to my son Gray, also give her bed, chest, corn, pork, etc.
• Son Matthew Armstrong - land I bought of Jacob Battle with part of the home plantation beginning at the mouth of a Lillte Branch, adj. Flat Meadow.
• To John Long - lend the old shop place as long as he pleases to stay at it.
• At my wife's death my remaining property is to be equally divided among Joseph Armstrong, Elizebeth Lands, Mary Long, Susanah Armstrong and Sarah Brake.
