This book reverses the burial dates of Thomas and Roberdye from what was published in the 1913 book by William Henry Wright and Gertrude Wright Ketcham, without comment on whether or not this is meant to be a correction. This book is assumed to be in error, primarily because there are clearly a number of other careless errors in this book, such as listing a child baptized 3 years after his father's will was proved (page 57) and using split years for dates in May, June, July and October (page 58). The parish register (which is not yet available online) should to be checked to determine which book is correct.

'THOMAS WRIGHT, son of Robert (2) and Mary Wright. Married Roberdye Pake, and lived in Brook Hall (The Moat House).'

The first 4 children in this family were born unusually close together - 11 to 12 months between baptisms. This is certainly not impossible, especially if the first two died young (the third lived to be married); however, it is also possible that the children of two different families have been combined into one. The earliest books on the Wright family do not list another Thomas contemporary with this one, but that doesn't mean that one did not exist.
