'Robert Wright, M. D. ... d. 1600-1; m. Susan -----.'
His will (probated 24 Apr 1601) mentions his wife Susan and lists his overseers as 'my brother, John Wright, of Kelvedon, and my brother, John Wright, of Wrightsbridge.'
It is not clear which Robert Wright (other than his grandfather, who died in 1587) would have two brothers John, one in Kelvedon [Hall] and one in Wrightsbridge. It is possible that he used the term "brother" to describe a cousin, although I am not familiar with the term being used that way. Note that I have chosen to use the name of Robert's wife given in William Henry Wright and Gertrude Wright Ketcham's History of the Wright Family, which seems to have fewer obvious errors.
