Obituary found at RICHARD KNOTTS, SR. Richard E. Knotts, Sr., 81, of Beaver Falls, died Friday, May 20, 2011, in Heritage Valley Beaver, Pa.

He was born in Beaver Falls, the son of the late Bryan and Eda Stump Knotts.

He was a former car salesman and a member of St. Rose of Lima Church, Knights of Columbus, and Sierra Club.

Surviving are one son, Richard E. Knotts of Bend, Oregon; one daughter, Debby Postich of Beaver Falls; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren; dear friend, Mary Ann Bender of Beaver Falls; and other relatives in West Virginia, including cousins, Norma Knotts Shaffer, Sandy Kerby, Sally Albaugh, Susan Kerby and Samuel Kerby.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene C. Kraska Knotts, in 2008; three brothers, Dean Knotts, Bill Knotts and Bob Knotts; and one sister, Elizabeth Rhodes.

Services were held in Pennsylvania. Burial was in St. Marys Cemetery, Chippewa Township, Pa.
