!BIRTHDATE: According to Aunt Emma, Richard was actually born on the 29th 

 of February, but that the birth certificate was written for the 28th as
 was the custom in the area.  (29 Feb 92)   Gertrud verified this (24 Nov 94) !DEATHDATE:  The 7 Aug 1976 death date was recorded by Ingrid Pruemmer.  Aunt
 Emma has this date recorded as 6 July 1976.

!MARRIAGEPLACE: According to Aunt Emma (who also provided the marriage date), 

 the marriage place was either Asperg or Benningen.
 Gertrud remembers that they were married in Benningen.  That is where he was
 living at the time and also where his wife was born. (28 Apr 1995)

A typewritten FGS lists the date of death as 6 Jul '76 (handwritten).
