according the Aunt Emma, Fritz was never married. His name was originally listed as Fritz, but she says he was actually, Friedrich. (29 Feb 92) In notes from a conversation with Gertrud Ruf 18 Aug 1991, she indicated that Fritz died on the way to the Russian front at age 20.
