Reed F. Lestina age 70 of Muscoda and formerly of Prairie du Chien passed away unexpectedly Friday, April 4, 2014 at the Richland Hospital in Richland Center, WI. He was born March 10, 1944 in Giard, IA, the son of Floyd and Alma (Cunningham) Lestina. He married Carol “Sue” Cejka in Monona, IA in 1976 and she preceded him in death in 2007. Reed worked as a logger and was an avid fisherman. He enjoyed his CB Radio where he was known as the “Iowa Bullfrog”. He is survived by his daughters, Jessica Lestina of Prairie du Chien and Jacklyn Lestina of LaCrosse, WI, his brother Roger (Sharon) Lestina of Bloomington, WI, along with four grandchildren. Reed was a very caring person who will be sadly missed by all. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife. A memorial service will be Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Garrity Funeral Home Chapel, Prairie du Chien, Rev. Bruce Hanson officiating, with burial in the Monona City Cemetery in Monona, IA. Friends may call on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 from 9:00 AM until the time of services.
