  2. ↑ The original posting is apparently based on an AFN LTMF-79, searching for which brings up dozens of records which show Rebecca Ruth Stearns married to a Jonathan Polk/Paulk. Several secondary sources appear to refer to her as "Rebecca Ruth" though it appears her brother's will in 1771 calls her only "Rebecah Polk", and of course, her birth record identifies her as simply Rebeckah.
