[Note: it is unclear what county records Bond is referring to: York County in Maine, Middlesex County where Watertown is, or Suffolk county for Boston where their first son was born? The only copy located is the Tolland copy, "recorded .. by Shubael himself", as indexed by Barbour, and it is not exactly as represented by Bond. Whether that is Bond's error, or Barbour's is not known.]
