Rebecca Cosner (Wood) was born to Peter Cosner and Hannah Brittain Cosner in 1755; Plumstead, Bucks Co., PA. She was buried near daughter's Rebecca, Hannah and Letitia Wood. Rebecca Cosner was married to Peter Wood March 20, 1776. Peter was enlisted in the Pennsylvania Associators Aug. 21, 1775, which was created by Benjamin Franklin for the Quakers who didn't believe in fighting. Rebecca Elizabeth Cosner Wood and Peter Wood had at least 13 children. The family moved to Southwark, Philadelphia, PA about 1798. The people who were interred at the Third Baptist Burial Ground in Southwark, Philadelphia, PA were moved after the burial ground was turned into a building site by developers in August of 1900. The burial ground used to be on 2nd street, above Catherine, below German Street; Southwark. The re-internment is at Arlington Cemetery in Drexel Hill, Delaware Co., PA.
