Sir Ralph Greystoke, 7th Baron, was summoned to Parliament from 29 Oct., 1436, to 15 Sept., 1485, and was frequently commissioned to treat with the Scots. He married Elizabeth, daughter of Lord William FitzHugh, Lord Ravensworth. They had a son Robert, who died in the lifetime of his father, and Robert's only child, a daughter Elizabeth, who married Thomas, Lord Dacre, and conveyed the barony Greystoke to her husband, where it continued until 1569, when George, 5th Baron Dacre, died sine prole, and the barony fell into abeyance between his 3 sisters.
