Buckhout, Ralph H., Jr.
Ralph H. Buckhout, Jr. a lifetime county resident, passed away on Tuesday, August 2, 2011. He was 81 years old. Ralph was born in Nyack, NY on August 8, 1929 to Ralph, Sr. and Katherine Buckhout. He graduated from Nyack High School. After graduating he served in the US Air Force. He was also a volunteer with Empire Hook and Ladder Co. #1 in Upper Nyack. Ralph retired from the International Paper Company and the Town of Clarkstown. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Alice. Son Joseph of Thousand Oaks, CA, daughter in law Monica and grand children Bryant of Eureka, CA and Michael of Tarzana, CA. Also a son David of Pearl River, NY daughter in law Jean and grand children Teresa, Leigh Ann, Sean, and Conor. Visiting will be held on Thursday evening from 7 to 9 PM and on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the Hannemann Funeral Home, Inc. in Nyack. A funeral service will take place on Saturday August 6, 2011 at 10 AM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Nyack, NY.
