Notes fron Don Tarbet's book The "T" Trail

Price was born on May 24, 1909 at Rule TX. He moved to Lamesa, TX in the winter of 1916 by covered waggon. He attended Mt. Olive, Mullins, and Five-Mile schools. He met Ethel Mary Dunn (b. Nov 11, 1910) and married her on Dec 20, 1928. Price spent most of his life farming cotton and grain in Dawson Co. TX., and Martin Co. TX. During hard times he would take temporary jobs but always returned to farming. He continued to farm until his death from cance on Dec 1, 1969. He is burried next to his wife at the Lamesa Memorial Park, Lamesa, TX.
