The Lake Odessa Wave, Friday, August 26, 1910
Polly M. Myers was born in Hillsdale County Michigan April 29, 1844 and with
her parents moved to Woodland township while the country was new. At the age
of 19 she was united in marriage to Randal M. Lipscomb where she has since
lived until her death. To this union were born ten children, five of whom
died in infancy. Those living are Mrs. Edd Demaray of Sebewa, Mrs. Dave
Kingman of West Odessa, Mr. Randal E. Lipscomb of Grand Rapids, Mrs. Geo.
Cooper of Lansing, and Mrs. Flint Eddy who is now living at the old home.

On the 17 of August she passed from this world to meet her loved ones who have
gone before. Besides the children before mentioned she leaves to mourn their
loss 12 grandchildren and one great grandchild, three brothers and two
sisters, Henry Myers of Portland, Oregon, Nathan Myers of Joplin, Missouri,
Ford Myers of Middleville, Mrs. Charles Hammer of Seattle, Washington and Mrs.
    Louis Wyerman, Lamonia, Iowa.

The funeral services were held last Friday at the Tamarac church, conducted by
the pastor Rev. Stone, and interment was in Lakeside cemetery. It was at the
Tamarac church where deceased was converted early in life and has ever since
    held her membership.
