Phoebe Hawtree was baptised on 20th May 1804 at Pinner in Middlesex, daughter of Elizabeth Hawtree, formerly Marshall, and her husband Thomas Hawtree, an agricultural labourer. She married a bricklayer named Israel Munt in 1824. They married at Shoreditch, in the eastern suburbs of London, but then settled at Tottenham, a few miles north of London, where they appear in each census from 1841 to 1861. By 1871 Phoebe was a widow. She appears to have died in 1878 in the Edmonton district, which covered Tottenham. She was 74.
