    "IV. Phinehas Hyde (59), born at Norwich West Farms (now Franklin, Conn., 2 Feb., 1720, the second son of Jabez Hyde (8) the first, and Elizabeth Bushnell, of Norwich, was a grandson of Samuel Hyde (2) the first, and Jane Lee, of Norwich. He m. 5 April, 1744, Anne Rogers (357), b. 26 Aug., 1726, at Norwich, the second daughter of his double first cousin, Elizabeth Hyde (50) and Dr. Theophilus Rogers of Norwich. They settled at Norwich West Farms (now Franklin), where she d. 22 July, 1776. The date of his death has not been ascertained."
