Abigail Hyde (62), born at Norwich West Farms (now Franklin), Conn., 17 Nov., 1715, the second daughter of Jabez Hyde (8) the first, and Elizabeth Bushnell, of Norwich, was a granddaughter of Samuel Hyde (2) the first, and Jane Lee, of Norwich. She m. 7 Sept., 1742, Jonathan Barstow, her second cousin, b. 26 Dec., 1712, son of Rebecca Bushnell and Job Barstow of Norwich, and grandson of John Barstow and Lydia Hatch of Scituate. They settled at Norwich West Farms, where he probably died previous to 1750. She d. 11 Oct, 1804, aged about 89."
