Name: Peter Jackson
Event Type: Death
Death Date: 2 May 1836
Death Place: Wintonbury, Connecticut, USA
(Wintonbury is now called Bloomfield.) This record lists Peter but has no info about his age at death or about any relationships.
It is noted that there were two Peter Jacksons in Vermont about the same time. This causes uncertainty as to which Peter died in Connecticut and which died in Vermont. But at this time, it is best conjecture that the father of all the children listed died in Connecticut.
(The Peter Jackson who died in 1883 Addison Co., VT would not have been the same Peter Jackson who was born in 1771.
The Peter Jackson who died in 1883 had "no relatives" and was possibly a son of the Peter Jackson who was enumerated in Addison Co. VT 1810 and 1820 census. The Peter in the 1810 & 1820 Vermont census with 4 children would not have been the same Peter whose 9 children were born in Bennington Co., VT before 1810.)
