GROBEL--In Cresco, Iowa, April 2, 1891, of heart disease, P. L. Grobel, aged 41 years and 9 months.

Deceased was born near Christiana, Norway, in 1849, came to the U. S. in 1871, locating in Decorah, from there coming to Cresco one year later. He was married February 22, 1873, to Mary A. Iverson of Hesper, three sons and two daughters, with their widowed mother survive him. Mr. Grobel since he came to Cresco has conducted a merchant tailoring establishment, meeting with good sucess. He was highly esteemed as a citizen, friend, and neighbor, and his untimely death is universally regretted.
