Born in Pennsylvania, Mr. Gamble resided most of his life in the Volney area. He was an Army veteran of World War 1. Surviving are two sons, Sylvester of Fulton and Thomas of Bridgeport; two daughters, Mrs. Anna Upchurch of Cheektowaga and Mrs. Golda Romanisk of Williamsville; and ten grandchildren. Services were Tuesday at the Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay ST, Fulton and in Immaculate Conception Church. Burial was in North Volney Cemetery.
