    Lapeer County Man Dies of Injuries

    Lapeer - Services will be at 2:30 P.M. Saturday at the Baird Funeral Home for Percy V. Arnold, 33, of 2286 Greenwood Rd., who died Thursday at Hurley Hospital, Flint, of injuries received whan [sic - when] a barn he was helping to jack up toppled on him.

    The Rev. J. Paul Pumphrey, Monroe Street Methodist Church, will officiate and burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

    Mr. Arnold was born in Jackson, April 16, 1913, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Arnold. The family lived variously in Big Rapids, Flint and Lapeer County. Mr. Arnold married Violet Russell, Feb. 28, 1939, and lived in Lansing until 1942, when they settled in Lapeer Township.

    Surviving are his wife; three children, Perry, Larry and Garry; his father, North Branch, and three sisters, Mrs. Leander Stickney, and Mrs. Orville Hillis, both of Big Rapids, and Mrs. Nina Wood, Detroit.
