    Larry Russell Arnold, 66, a lifetime Lapeer area resident, died on Friday, October 10, 2008. He was born on June 18, 1942 in Lansing to Percy “Pete” and Violet (Russell) Arnold. He married Patricia L. Bucholtz on September 18, 1989 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Port Huron.

    Larry graduated from Lapeer High School, Class of 1961. He was an inspector and welder for Pontiac Motors Division of GMC on Walton for 43 years, retiring in 2006. Larry loved being outside at the family farm. He loved his cats and dog and enjoyed reading.

    He is survived by his wife, Patricia Arnold of Lapeer; son, Justin Arnold of Lapeer; step-son, Joshua (Rachael) Fox of Grayling; grandchildren, Noah and Stephanie; brothers, Terry (Sharon) Arnold of Lapeer and Garry (Linda) Arnold of Seattle.

    He was preceded in death by his parents, Pete and Violet Arnold.
