Garry Frank Arnold May 22, 1944 - October 27, 2023

Garry Frank Arnold, 79, of Edmonds, WA, passed away on October 27, 2023.

He was born in May, 1944, in Lapeer, MI. He was the youngest of three boys and grew up with cousins right down the road. After he graduated from Lapeer High School in 1962, he enlisted in the US Air Force serving until August, 1966. He met his first wife, Linda, when he was based in Minot and married her in February, 1966, in New Town, ND.

The newlyweds moved to Seattle in 1966, and he worked at Boeing until June 1968. He joined the Seattle Police Department in 1968, working there until his retirement in July, 2000. He became a greenskeeper at Ballinger Lakes Golf Course until 2010, putting his love of golf and gardening to use.

His son, ..., and his daughter ... He coached both of their sports teams and his grandchild's teams, as well as multiple other teams over the years. He was very athletic - you could often find him playing on one of countless teams (softball, baseball, soccer, basketball, hockey), golfing, or playing pickleball.

He is preceded in death by his father (Percy, 1946), his mother (Violet, 1973), his brothers, Larry (2008) and Terry (2022), and his first wife (Linda, 2015).

He is survived by his wife ..., children ..., grandchildren ..., and many other family members.

Garry's life was a life well lived. He touched the lives of many, and he would be happy if your memories of him lead to a smile or a laugh.
