Paul E. Wotring, 77, of 498 Mauch Chunk Road, Whitehall Township, died Tuesday in his home. He was the husband of Julia P. (Ruch) Wotring. They observed their 58th wedding anniversary last November.
He owned the Paul E. Wotring Garage at his home 1945-73. He also worked at Bethlehem Steel Corp. 1943-47.
Born in Lowhill Township, he was a son of the late Herbert M. and Mary Alice (Lauchnor) Wotring.
He was a member of Neffs United Church of Christ.
Surviving with his widow are two sons, Carl P. of New York City and Robert N. of Whitehall; six daughters, Mariannne L. Talotta of Center Valley, Celia G. Vargas of Catasauqua, Gail J., wife of Anthony Minor, and Blanche J., wife of Walter Kropf, both of Allentown, Leah M. Wagner of Whitehall and Christine J., wife of Earl Walbert of Bethlehem; two brothers Herbert Jr. of Emmaus and Russell of Orefield; four sisters, Dorothy, wife of Frank Gimbel of Orefield, and Lillian Heinly, Birdell Gackenbach and Frances Dilcher, all of Allentown; 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland St., Allentown. Calling hours will be noon Friday until services.
