Julia P. Wotring, 84, formerly of 498 Mauch Chunk Road, Whitehall Township, died Saturday in Liberty Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Allentown.
She was a machine operator at the former Penn State Mills, Allentown, for many years until retiring.
Born in Whitehall, she was a daughter of the late Robert R. and Hannah ( Diefenderfer ) Ruch .
She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, Whitehall.
Survivors: Son, Robert N. of Whitehall; daughters, Marianne L. Talotta, Celia G. Vargas and Leah M. Wagner, all of Macungie, Gail J., wife of Anthony Minar and Blanche J., wife of Walter Kropf, both of Allentown, and Christine J., wife of Earl Walbert of Bethlehem; brother, Milton of Baltimore, Md.; sister, Mrs. Helen Schneck of Neffs; 17 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a son, Carl, in 1987.
