    Patrick Hays
    Birth: 1741
    Lancaster County
    Pennsylvania, USA
    Death: Apr. 16, 1813

On May 26, 1915, the Fort Antes Chapter of DAR marked this grave as a revolutionary war soldier and noted the following:

"Patrick Hays was born in 1741 in Lancaster County, Pa. He served as a lieutenant in the Lancaster County Militia in 1778. He was captain of the Eighth Company, Seventh Battalion of Lancaster County Militia, in 1781082, and held a captaincy in the Fourth Battalion in 1783. He seems to have had a fuller military record than any of the others described. He was, however, little known in this section, for his death occurred within five days after removing to Pine Creek. His remains were buried in the Pine Creek Graveyard."
