OBITUARY: John Vitus Dietlein & Eva M. Lang Descendants Compiled October 1990 By Damian L. Dietlein Page 34 - 35 Orville E. Knight Knight - Orville E. Knight, 52, died today at his home at 112 W. Midland Rd., Auburn. He was born in Monitor Township Feb. 10, 1912, and married Esther Schweitzer, Kawkawlin, Dec. 25, 1936. He was employed at the tank car department of the Dow Chemical Co., Midland, and was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Auburn. Besides his wife, he leaves three sons, Brent and Orville, at home, and Bruce, Mt. Pleasant, a daughter, Beth Anne, at home; a brother, Avery, Auburn, and five sisters, Mrs. Kenneth (Alice) McLain, Leslie, Mrs. Edward (Maude) Brandt and Mrs Athur (Helen) Fisherber[=Fischhaber], Monitor Township, Mrs. Melvin (Louise) Gunther, Bay City and Mrs. Victor (Dora) Engelhardt, AuGres. Services will be read by Rev. Robert W. Kavash at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Grace Lutheran Church. Burial will be in floral Gardens Cemetery. The body may be seen after 7 p.m. tonight until 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Taylor Funeral Home, Auborn, and at the church from 1 p.m. until the time of services.
