Orval Plants, age 35, WV, single, farmer. 1930 Pacific Co., WA. Orval moved to Washington after the mining wars of 1920-1921. It's unclear if he left because he was part of Don Chafin's army of deputies, mine guards, and state police, or whether he was with the miners and left the state to evade prosecution. WW1 draft registration dated Sep. 11, 1918 lists address as 306 South ?, Yakima, Washington and profession as stock trader.
