During war (World War 1), she was active worker in Red Cross, being a charter member of the Henrietta Chapter and receiving a medal for 800 hours work in 6 months. On Henrietta School Board for a year or so. Treasurer of Partents Teacher Association for 4 or 5 years. 1st grade certificate, Pike COunty, Illinois, issued July 29, 1890.
