Ollie Marshall died in the Veterans Hospital in St. Louis, Friday, March 29, 1957. He was seventy years old and a World War I veteran.
Burial was Sunday at Star City, Arkanasas, which was the former home of his wife. He and Mrs. Marshall had lived at Steelville, Missouri for the past twenty years.
Mr. Marshall was born in Tell City, Indiana but was reared in the Steele community. A man well known here, he will be remembered by the older residents. He was a one-time farmer here, and was also in business in Steele. Mr. Marshall died of a kidney ailment after having been hospitalized about four weeks.
Survivors are his wife, Jane; two brothers, Roy of Steele and Lester of St. Louis; and one sister, Mrs. Minnie Cooksey of Kennett.
