Olive E. Standley, aged 80 years, passed away at her home, 1724 James Street, Thursday, October 1, (1942). Mrs. Standley arrived at San Juan County forty-six years ago and came to Bellingham twenty-two years ago. Deceased was a member of the Garden Street Methodist Church and leaves the following survivors: Two daughters, Mrs. George H[K]alberg and Mrs. Harry Long of this city; thirteen grand and seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Robert Graham and Mrs. Rhoda Stall, Los Angeles; one brother, Edward Swinden, Grants Pass, Ore. The remains are at the funeral home of Harlow-Hollingsworth where services will be conducted by the Rev. James E. Milligan, Saturday, October 3 at 10:30 a.m. Final resting place, Woodlawn.
